Plan ahead to avoid stress

Decide on your outfit days in advance and ensure it's ironed and fits well. If you are not sure what to wear, bring a few outfits and we can help you decide.

Classic is Always Best

Stick with classic, timeless looks that won’t feel dated in your headshot. Trends change quickly!! We recommend solid colors that contrast your skin tone.

Hair Prep

Style it how you normally wear it to work; this isn’t the day to try something new.

Jewelry should be simple Small pieces that don’t draw attention away from your face.

Stubble We can do a lot of things in photoshop, but removing stubble is not one of them. If you want a clean-shaven face, please shave before you arrive.

What to expect during your headshot session:

We’ll guide you through expressions and posing

Expect to try several looks—small smile, big smile, and everywhere in between. We will take a lot of photos, but our goals is always the same. A confident and approachable expression.

Previews You’ll see previews during the session so we can make adjustments in real time.

Retouching is included We’ll handle flyaway hair, minor blemishes, glass glare, and distracting background elements without making you look “over-edited.”

Trust Your Photographer’s Direction Angles and lighting play a big role in your final headshot. We work to find the most flattering position for your face, which means making small adjustments until we get it right. It might not always feel natural in the moment, but there’s a reason for every adjustment — even the silly ones.

If you have questions or special requests, we’re happy to help!
