Get Ready for Your Portrait Session!

A little prep goes a long way! Use this quick checklist to feel confident and photo ready.

3 Days Before

  • Pick Your Outfits: Lay out a couple looks you love—don’t forget shoes and accessories. Make sure everything fits well and looks clean.

  • Check for Wrinkles & Stains: Give your outfits a once-over. If needed, iron or steam them so they look sharp in your photos.

  • Plan Your Hair: If you're getting a haircut, do it about a week ahead. If you're styling it yourself, plan your look and grab what you’ll need.

The Night Before

  • Nail Check: Clean, trimmed nails look great—even without polish. Avoid chipped polish or messy nails.

  • Pack a Small Bag: Bring the basics: hairbrush or comb, umbrella (just in case), extra hair ties, and lip balm or lipstick if you normally use it.

  • Get Some Sleep: Rest up! You’ll look more refreshed, and your photos will show it.
